The Creation Museum… Jesus + Dinosaurs = Lunacy

Duh!!!

“Creation museum founder Ken Hamm says business is booming, despite the economic recession, with more than 2 million people visiting the Kentucky site since it opened in 2007.” – religionnews.com

What they don’t tell you: The single and only reason the ‘creation museum’ is booming is a case of simple geography; its located in Kentucky, which is one of the epic centers for religious fanatics/idiots. Put that on either coast, and it’s a big fail.

Please leave our noodles and vajayjay’s alone

I really have to hand it to religion; its far more powerful then I had realized. It’s so powerful, in fact, that it allows the molestation and penetration of children with little or no consequences. I can care less that a family receives monetary compensation 20 years after the fact; money, in this instance, is the evil that allows the continued exploitation of the children. Money, in this case, is an instrument that is meant to buy people off. And the wicked device of power that convinces some of the children to allow these sex acts is that it’s god’s will, or that Satan is inside them and they need a good fucking to expel Satan and his army of demons.

Now, I present the anatomy of a multitude of crime scenes, all of which exist because of cover-ups to preserve the ‘so called’ infallible nature of the Catholic Church.

The Catholic Church’s formula is tried and proven in just 5 easy steps. 1) promote the so called ‘holy church’ and increase the flock. 2) systematically scare the flock into giving money to the church. 3) along side of this monetary pillaging, molest and rape children at will. 4) while these grotesque crimes are being perpetrated, the powers that be historically do not remove and defrock the priests, but simply relocate the sexual predator to another location so new sex crimes can be committed. 5) When these crimes are discovered by the public many years later, the Catholic Church ties up the cases in court, rather than admit 100% fault and ask forgiveness.

Now, my first instinct tells me to argue that, in any other industry, this would not be allowed to happen. But when I look closer at other crimes, unrelated to sex crimes involving children, I see a nasty pattern that allows crimes of all types to flourish, and in the end, offer next to nothing for those taken advantage of.

Take the bailout of the large corporations and the financial ponzi-schemes ran for decades. The money made by these companies during their irresponsible handling of our money pales in comparison to the fines they pay.

Think about it for a second. If one can run a scam where you can loan money to uncreditworthy people, and as a result make 200 billion dollars which results in paying a fine of 50 billion dollars, and then get the money back under the guise of a bailout, it’s actually a good business decision on a balance sheet. The only thing one has to be careful of is being the scapegoat. You might say, well, Bernie Madoff went to prison, but the reality is most people involved do not serve time, and so one can argue that the incarceration of Madoff is/was to appease the masses so they feel like justice is being served, when in fact it’s not.

The most important thing to remember is not to trust the rules of the game when the rules of the game are made by the big fish, where things like checks-and-balances are less about making sure things are on the level, and more about the checks-and-balances of their overinflated, ill-gotten spoils.

1 year online; only the beginning

I would like to thank everyone that has signed up over the last year, and with that, we have been online for 1 year. As many of you visit the site from time to time, you sorta know what to expect here.

Very shortly, however, Antireligion.com will become more than just a place to rant-and-rave about the bullshit that religion is. Soon, Antireligion.com will be the portal for all things religious or nonreligious, at least in the vein that we will have vast amounts of information on world religions so we can better understand the nuances of each one and the bullshit that accompanies them.

Remember one important fact; while the religious community is clearly bullshit, they are clearly better organized that we are, so we need to grow this website in order to have a place all our own, a place where its ok to say ‘we don’t know’, which is a lost art, an art stolen from humanity long ago.

Learning; a journey, not a destination

J-Money

After all the arguing and back-and-forth between believers and non-believers, the problem can be summed up as follows:

Learning, (‘true learning’) is a process that builds upon new information, which is then incorporated into ones growing library of knowledge, and from which springs forth a new form of truth, or if I dare say, belief system. Now, there’s no problem having a belief system, but there is a huge problem if that belief system is not allowed to grow and adjust.

The problem then, is the religiously inclined claim to own a species of truth that is constant, and which cannot change; this is born from believing the bible is the one and only source of truth.

Alternatively, the bible is just a single text out of literally thousands of other texts, so believing it on face value, while totally disregarding all other texts, is owning to a belief system that is lacking any checks-and-balances of other texts; or put simply, trying to convince others that the picture is perfectly clear, while 95% of the puzzle pieces are missing.

There in-lies the genius of religion. The creators of religion knew that if they could get people to totally believe in something they could not see, they would have total control over them. Because of this, there is no known formula for having a coherent, logical conversation with a person of faith.

I mean, how does one reason with someone that believes there’s an invisible judge watching our every move, and that if we are bad, we will burn in hell for eternity?

I suppose the same way one tries to tell a 3 year old that Dr. Seuss isn’t real. But, no matter what the argument, the 3 year old isn’t buying it.

This is what Athiests are up against everyone…Christians that believe they are holier than thou.

OOOHHHH, watch out for those scary athiests, they may take over and make Christianity disappear.  The arrogance of these Christians are amazing.

Knowing vs. Belief

I think these are pretty accurate statements, all things considered:

  • One can believe in god
  • One can’t know he exists

The Religious:

Religious people, for the most part, are unable to separate belief and knowledge; too them, they are synonymous, one and the same.

For the religious, the non-separation of the two is required to look no further for truth, as they are convinced they already have it.

The Non-Religious:

Non religious people, for the most part, have no problem separating the two, as they have totally different meanings.

For the non-religious, the separation of the two is prerequisite to seeking truth, because they are at least smart enough to know they do not possess it.

Enough said?
